The
Border Fuchsia Group (affiliated to the British Fuchsia Society) meets four
times a year at Hexham (address below). You do not have to
be a member of the BFS to attend any meeting but if you are interested in
growing fuchsias or in amature photography, why not come along.
The initial goal is to further the fuchsia by holding 2 meetings
to discuss the running of the British Fuchsia Society Border Show and the other
2 meetings are used for the Photographic Special Interest Group -
breakdown of the meetings are as follows.

Meetings
Sunday 16th March 2007 - to discuss the Border Show, date of
show, venue, classes. The afternoon will be a discussion on the future BFS
anniversary in 2008. Also talks and discussions regarding growing -
questions and answers.
Sunday 30th September 2007 - AGM and also talk to
be arranged.
2 Photographic Group
Meetings
11th May 2007 - Camera controls, techniques, computer
manipulation of pictures (fuchsias may be included). Please
note that this meeting will include a lot information/advice regarding
manipulation and taking your pictures, laptops will be available for use by the
members. Full details about our 14th October will be given.
Sunday 19th
October 2007 - Entries for the yearly photographic competion (including finding
the winners), awarding the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place tickets and awarding the
overall winner for the best photograph.

All meetings cost £1-00 per person
for the full day, if you want coffee or tea the cost is £1-00 per person
