Meetings

15th March  FUCHSIA - This meeting (morning session) will concentrate on the proposed show held and run solely  by the Border Fuchsia Group following  the BFS debacle.  The afternoon session will be a talk by Morris, Eric on growing Sweet Peas, Fuchsias, etc.

10th May  PHOTOGRAPHIC - Bring along your camera, laptops, etc., as we are going out to the park next to Hexham Abbey, hopefully it will be nice weather and we should get some decent photographs.  Any pictures taken by the members can and will be shown on the projector and advice given on manipulation.

27th September FUCHSIA - This meeting is again split into two sections, the morning will be AGM and to discuss the Border Show.  The afternoon session is to be confirmed.

18th October PHOTOGRAPHIC - As in previous years this meeting is to find the best photograph from a member and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the other fuchsia photo competitions.

We did demonstrate at our last photographic meeting that we are now producing video DVD's and at present have four ready and for sale.  A lot of our members together with BFS members have already purchased them and even some of the BFS Committee and Officers have bought a set.

The DVD's are made to run either on  a DVD player onto your TV, through a computer or a projector or on your computer.  See what we have for sale at present
HERE.

As discussed during the meeting in January, if any member wants to apply for the vacant position of Area Representative, feel free to apply to the Secretary of the BFS.
